Ballistic missile launched by North Korea falls into the sea

The Japanese Coast Guard reported the fall of a ballistic missile fired by North Korea. This was announced after the Japanese Ministry of Defense confirmed the launch and fall of the object outside the country's exclusive economic zone.

The event caused alarm among maritime carriers and fishing vessels in the region. The Coast Guard urged to be extremely careful about the possible discovery of missile debris and not to approach it, as well as to report any findings to the appropriate services.

“An object, which may be a ballistic missile fired from the DPRK, has already fallen. Vessels should monitor subsequent information and, if debris is found, not approach it, but report the relevant information to the coast guard.”, the Japanese Coast Guard said in a statement.

This is not the first time that Pyongyang's actions have led to tension in the region. North Korea continues to conduct missile tests despite international warnings and sanctions.

Pyongyang has not yet commented on the situation.
