The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the strikes on Ukraine with hypersonic missiles "Dagger".

Valery Zaluzhny, commenting on today's strikes on the territory of Ukraine (in total, the Ukrainian side reports launches of 81 cruise missiles), stated that at least 6 strikes were carried out using hypersonic Kinzhal missiles. Considering Zaluzhny’s statement (and there is no official data from Russia on this yet), this is the largest attack using hypersonic weapons, and not only in Ukraine, but in history as a whole.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the attack was also carried out using 8 unmanned aerial vehicles included in this number. Moreover, the latter could simultaneously perform several functions: they could be used to destroy targets and detect enemy air defense systems.

It is known that as a result of the strikes, serious damage was caused to the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. In particular, in some regions there are still interruptions in the supply of electricity.

There are currently no official statements from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regarding the strikes inflicted on the territory of Ukraine.
