Residents of Mariupol report heavy helicopter flights hours before the missile attack.

It is reported on social networks that a large number of helicopters were seen over Mariupol the day before. However, the night before, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a massive missile attack on the area of ​​the old airport, which at the moment raises concerns that this military equipment could be the target.

At the moment, there is still no official data regarding the strikes against Mariupol, however, on video footage taken by local residents, you can see that the strikes were quite powerful, and at least four explosions thundered in total.

What exactly was the target of the strikes has not yet been specified, however, long-range missiles were operating on the territory of the city - according to assumptions, the attack was carried out using Storm Shadow tactical cruise missiles, which have recently appeared in service with the Ukrainian army and have already been used to strike at Lugansk.
