The Washington Post: Britain prepares to send long-range missiles to Ukraine

Britain intends to transfer long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine.

The British Ministry of Defense, according to the American newspaper The Washington Post, is considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles. It is reported that the British authorities turned to the International Fund for Support of Ukraine with a proposal to provide support in the supply of strike weapons capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers.

Such an initiative on the part of the British government indicates a desire to increase the range of Ukraine's strikes on Russian territory. If the proposal is approved, the supply of long-range missiles could significantly enhance the strike capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces.

It should be noted that the supply of such weapons may cause a reaction from Russia, as it will be perceived as a threat to its security.

At the moment, it is not known what type of missiles are being considered for delivery and what terms are expected for their implementation. However, according to previous assumptions, we are talking about AGM-84 Harpoon cruise missiles and, probably, Shadow Storm tactical cruise missiles.
