In the combat zone in the Donetsk direction, in particular in Chasov Yar, Ukrainian military personnel resorted to unconventional conflict tactics, creating obstacles to the advance of Russian troops. According to a statement by military expert and retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to en masse put warnings on the doors of entrances and basements about the alleged presence of civilians there, which makes it difficult to storm the city.

This technique, as noted, is mostly untrue and is used as a psychological and tactical ploy aimed at complicating the performance of combat missions by Russian troops and preventing attacks on civilian targets.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirms active military operations in this region, reporting attacks on Ukrainian army positions in several settlements, including Chasov Yar, during which manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit.
