During the latest strikes inflicted by Russian aircraft and ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the extremely serious vulnerability of Western air defense systems to such attacks. As it turned out, according to the Ukrainian military, we are talking about a radical change in the tactics of delivering strikes - previously, such tactics have already been tested on shahid drones.

According to the data voiced by representatives, the new tactics of delivering strikes on the territory of Ukraine with tactical and strategic cruise missiles is based on launching missiles along river channels. This almost certainly prevents air defense systems from detecting missiles, and therefore Russian strikes have become more effective, require less missile consumption, and the alarm in Ukraine is triggered after the first wave of strikes. Previously, martyr drones were launched in a similar way.

Experts note that given the large number of rivers, the missile can have an unpredictable trajectory, and it can be laid in such a way as to completely bypass air defense systems. In addition, in such a situation, missiles can only be shot down either until the latter descend to an extremely low altitude, or when they begin to rise already to hit the target - this takes several seconds and air defense systems simply do not have time to intercept.
