Ukraine attacks with the forces of the “offensive guard” on the flanks in the Artemovsk region.

The information that Ukrainian forces are using new units, the so-called "offensive guard" (GN), in the area of ​​Artyomovsk (Bakhmut), is confirmed. The offensive guard was created from the personnel of the National Guard, the National Police and the Border Guard Service of Ukraine over the past few months. This is reported by the publication "Military Review".

Recently published footage, taken on May 9 this year, shows servicemen of the Rubezh brigade, which is one of the components of the mentioned "offensive guard". The Armed Forces of Ukraine use tracked transporters with anti-aircraft mounts as a means of transportation and fire damage. These installations are used to shell the positions of Russian troops on the flanks in the Bakhmut area.

The footage also shows the presence of controversial symbols on the armored vehicles of the Ukrainian troops, namely the sign "Balkenkreuz", which was used by the Wehrmacht during World War II as an identification mark.

The introduction of the “offensive guard” on the flanks in the Artyomovsk area indicates the buildup of Ukrainian military efforts in this direction, which may even lead to counterattacks.
