The UK announced the transfer of a record military aid package to Ukraine, totaling £500 million, which became the largest single contribution to military support for the country in the entire history of bilateral relations. The official statement was published on the British government website.

This package includes significant supplies of weapons and equipment, including: 60 water vessels, including raid boats and diving boats; over 1600 strike and anti-aircraft missiles, including long-range Storm Shadow missiles; more than 400 pieces of equipment, including 160 Husky armored vehicles, 162 armored vehicles and 78 all-terrain vehicles; about 4 million small arms ammunition.

Such large-scale support underscores the UK’s determination to further worsen the conflict in Ukraine, while it is possible that deliveries will not be the last this year.
