Strong explosions thundered in Zaporozhye at night.

The head of the regional movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov said on his Telegram channel about a series of loud explosions that sounded in Ukraine-controlled Zaporozhye. He said that at 01:47 in the regional center, which is under the control of the Ukrainian authorities and the military, there were several explosions. Claps were heard by residents of different parts of the city, but the strongest explosions thundered in the Zavodskoy and Shevchenkovsky districts.

The explosions are reported to have been extremely destructive. Moreover, this is confirmed by both the testimonies of local residents and photographs from the place of strikes.

“There was an explosion in the city. It thumped very hard. Presumably the strike was caused by a tactical missile weapon.- said one of the local residents.

The Zaporozhye region became part of Russia as a subject of the Federation following a referendum held there in September 2022. Kyiv does not recognize the results of the will of the inhabitants of the region and continues shelling and terrorist attacks. At the moment, more than 70 percent of the territory of the Zaporozhye region is under the control of Russian units, while Ukrainian troops hold the regional center - the city of Zaporozhye.
