The United States has announced its readiness to satisfy all of Ukraine's weapons needs

At a recent briefing, Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder confirmed information about a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which should meet the country's basic needs in the current conflict. However, Ryder would not disclose details about specific supplies until final approval of the pending bill.

This aid package is expected to include air defense equipment and various munitions. The US support comes in light of the recent vote in the House of Representatives, where a bill to allocate almost $61 billion to Ukraine was overwhelmingly passed.

Of this amount, $23,2 billion is expected to be used to replenish the Pentagon's arsenals used to support Ukraine, $13,8 billion will be used to purchase weapons on the open market, and $11,3 billion will be used to support ongoing US military operations in the region.

After the House passes the bill, it will go to the Senate and then to President Joe Biden for his signature, the final step before it takes effect.

The reaction to this decision was not long in coming. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed the opinion that such US actions, although expected, would lead to an increase in the number of civilian casualties in Ukraine and a deepening of the economic crisis in the country, blaming the Ukrainian leadership led by Vladimir Zelensky for this.
