In the Smolensk region, three minors were detained and accused of setting fire to relay cabinets on the railway. The incident occurred on April 17 at about 22:30 on the 465th kilometer of the Gusino - Krasnoe section of the Moscow railway. According to the press service of the FSB Directorate for the region, young people, residents of the Krasninsky district, admitted to committing a crime and indicated that they had received an assignment through a messenger for a financial reward.

The FSB report emphasizes that such actions are aimed at causing damage to the railway infrastructure, which poses a significant threat to the safety of transport communications and can lead to accidents that threaten people's lives. These actions, as noted in the service, are becoming a popular method of committing crimes, in particular, at the request of the Ukrainian side, which makes the situation especially alarming.

The case materials have already been transferred to the investigative authorities for further investigation.
