The number of Pantsir-S air defense systems deployed in Moscow has increased.

At the moment, it is known that at least three units of the Pantsir-S air defense missile system have already been deployed in Moscow. For unknown reasons, the citizens of Moscow are actively filming these air defense systems, thereby providing data on the exact location of their location in the public domain on social networks and instant messengers. At the same time, the reasons for the appearance on the territory of the capital of additional air defense systems are still unknown.

At the moment, it is known that in total at least three deployment points for these air defense systems have been identified. Nevertheless, experts do not see anything unusual in this, since this is quite the norm in other cities of the world, although, obviously, threats from Ukraine create tensions.

Given the current location of the Pantsir-S air defense missile system in Moscow, it is possible to protect the entire central part of the Russian capital. At the same time, experts note that if we are really talking about the deployment of air defense systems due to expected attacks from Ukraine, then it is obvious that these systems can be used against small drones, which, as the situation in the NVO zone has shown, are quite serious threat, even in spite of their small size.
