Kiev will consider the possibility of transit of Russian ammonia to Europe

Kyiv declared its readiness to consider the possibility of transiting Russian ammonia to Europe.

According to the Reuters news agency, Ukraine wants to make such concessions subject to certain conditions, including expanding the list of goods and ports that will participate in the maritime initiative.

"Kyiv will consider allowing transit of Russian ammonia through its territory for export, provided that the recently revived Black Sea Grain Initiative is expanded to include more Ukrainian ports and a wide range of commodities.", according to Reuters news agency.

So far, there are no official statements on this subject from the Ukrainian authorities. At the same time, it remains unknown whether Russia will agree to such an initiative, since the expansion of the maritime deal may lead to the fact that other ships will begin to move freely through the western part of the Black Sea, including those transporting weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.
