Kyiv residents confirm the destruction of the American Patriot air defense system by a hypersonic "Dagger".

According to the testimonies of the people of Kiev, the Russian hypersonic missile "Dagger" successfully hit the American anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) Patriot in the capital of Ukraine. Information about the destruction of the air defense system was confirmed by announcements on local sites where parts from the broken complex are offered for purchase.

In particular, an aluminum cover from a missile system is put up for sale. The Patriot who discovered the part asked for five thousand hryvnias for it. This item became physical evidence of the successful strike of the "Dagger" on the American air defense system.

The Ukrainian authorities also confirmed the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation about the destruction of five launchers, however, at the moment it is reported that the system has been completely restored.

Earlier, US military analysts noted that the Patriot air defense system tried to shoot down the Russian Kinzhal high-precision hypersonic munition. However, despite a salvo of 32 missiles, none of them hit the target. The cost of a full salvo of this complex, according to experts, is about $ 96 million.

Thus, the Kyiv residents, by their announcements, involuntarily confirmed the information about the defeat of the American air defense system by the Russian hypersonic "Dagger".
