A serviceman blew up 13 of his colleagues with a grenade.

A serviceman from the Sverdlovsk region, while on the territory of a military unit in the Bryansk region, blew up his colleagues by purposefully detonating an RGD-5 grenade. As a result of the explosion, three servicemen were killed, and another 10 received various injuries and injuries. Due to the explosion, ammunition detonated in the building and a fire started. It was put out by the firemen who arrived.

According to Avia.pro sources, the tragic and at the same time mysterious incident occurred on January 14th. According to the Baza publication, the serviceman grabbed a grenade and thus tried to gain authority among his colleagues, however, throwing a grenade at his feet, set off an explosion. It is reported that mobilized citizens were in the building.

“A serviceman picked up an RGD-5 grenade in order to gain authority in front of his subordinates. After the explosion in the building of the village house of culture, where the mobilized were located, ammunition detonated and a fire started on an area of ​​​​about 450 square meters - firefighters extinguished it for about 4 hours. The fire site is still cordoned off. According to the sappers, unexploded ordnance may still remain on the territory. Three soldiers were killed in the explosion and at least 10 others were injured.”, - the journalists of "Base" report.

How exactly the serviceman could gain access to the grenade is unknown.
