An FPV drone attack on the TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system was caught on video.

During the ongoing fighting in Ukraine, Ukrainian drone operators were able to track down the TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system and point the drone at it. The corresponding video footage, taken by the drone from the first person, was published on the network.

On video frames, you can see how a Ukrainian drone, while flying, detects rocket launches. After approaching, the MLRS complex was identified as TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" and the FPV drone operator directed the drone directly at the launcher of this heavy flamethrower system.

From the video footage, it is difficult to establish how serious the damage to the heavy flamethrower system is, since the drone’s camera turned off just a moment before the explosion. However, FPV drones are often equipped with powerful charges, which, among other things, allow them to penetrate even tank defenses.

It should be noted that to date this is the first known case of the use of an FPV drone against the TOS-1A Solntsepyok system.
