At night, the territory of Ukraine was subjected to massive rocket fire.

According to information provided by the Ukrainian side, 25 Kalibr and X-101/X-555 cruise missiles were launched by the Russian Armed Forces over the past XNUMX hours. Up to this point, targets in the region have been attacked using unmanned aerial vehicles-kamikaze "Geran".

According to the Ukrainian side, as a result of the work of air defense systems, it was possible to intercept a significant part of the missiles, however, judging by the existing damage, the declared interception of 23 cruise missiles is clearly exaggerated.

What exactly became the targets of missile strikes using Caliber missiles and missiles of the X family is still unknown, since there are no official statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense yet.

The aim of the missile strikes, most likely, was to be the military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the deployment sites of air defense systems.
