Five Patriot launchers destroyed in Kyiv.

On May 16, five launchers of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed in Kyiv. This is reported on the basis of reliably confirmed data. According to available information, the destruction occurred as a result of a strike by the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system.

In addition to the Patriot launchers, a multifunctional radar station was hit and completely destroyed. Rocket launchers and radar station are products of the United States of America. They were placed in Kyiv to provide air defense of the city.

Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems are one of the most powerful air defense systems currently available to Ukraine, and therefore the loss of the latter can be a significant blow to the defense capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Kinzhal hypersonic missile system, which was used for the strike, is one of the latest developments in the field of weapons. It is capable of hitting targets at long distances with high accuracy and speed several times faster than the speed of sound.

It is assumed that satellite images will clarify the situation with the destruction of the American Patriot air defense systems.
