The Bosphorus was blocked by a vessel en route from Ukraine.

Transit between the Black and Mediterranean Seas turned out to be temporarily impossible due to a ship en route from Ukraine. As it became known, the ship, passing in the direction of Istanbul, unexpectedly ran aground, as a result of which the Bosphorus was blocked. Information on this subject is provided by the Turkish edition of HaberTurk.

At the moment, the Bosphorus is completely blocked by a ship that was coming from Ukraine. The reasons for the ship's running aground remain unknown, however, an operation is already underway in the Bosphorus to unblock the ship. It is reported that the ship is sailing under the flag of Palau.

“The statement of the Main Directorate of Coastal Security says: “Our lifeguard, our ship NENE HATUN, our tugboats KURTARMA-5, KURTARMA-8, KURTARMA-9 and KEGM-8 were promptly sent to the place incidents." Expressions were used to release the 142-meter dry cargo ship MKK-1, which ran aground in Umurieri while sailing from Ukraine to Istanbul", - the newspaper reports.
