Soledar is still partially controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Despite receiving information that the Ukrainian army units were given only 24 hours to withdraw their forces from Soledar, it became known that Ukrainian troops are still on the territory of the city, controlling its entire western part. By the current moment, it is known that the Wagner PMC units managed to gain a foothold in the central part of the city, taking control of the city administration building, however, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still control the entire western outskirts of Soledar, including correcting heavy artillery strikes on the city.

On the video footage published by members of the PMC "Wagner", you can see that the latter really occupied the city administration, while the fighting in the city is still ongoing.

Experts believe that the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a high degree of probability will still be forced to leave Soledar and retreat, however, given the high intensity of the fighting in the city and the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided by artillery, experts cannot name any specific dates.
