Defense Minister Shoigu dismissed Kyiv's claims about allegedly downed Kinzhal missiles.

Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu commented on the statements of the Ukrainian authorities about the downed Kinzhal missiles over Kiev. In an interview with RIA Novosti, the general of the army noted that the number of missiles, which, according to Kyiv, was shot down, is three times higher than the actual number launched by Russia.

"The Russian Federation has not launched as many "Daggers" as they allegedly shoot down with their statements every time", - Shoigu emphasized.

The minister also noted that the Ukrainian side often makes mistakes in determining the type of missiles, which, in his opinion, may be one of the reasons for their inability to effectively intercept.

"Yes, and with the type of missiles they are always wrong. That's why they don't hit"- added Shoigu.

At the same time, the Minister of Defense did not confirm, but did not refute the information about the Kinzhal hypersonic missile shot down in early May, which had previously been demonstrated in Kiev, which now caused a lot of questions.
