Russian expert told where Western equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is stored

Ukraine is preparing tanks for a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions.

Military analyst Boris Dzherelievsky, in a conversation with URA.RU, spoke about the distribution of Western tanks received by Ukraine for a future counteroffensive. According to him, a significant part of the tanks is already in the Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions, while the other part of the equipment is located on the territory of Western Ukraine.

Dzherelievsky clarified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to disperse the tanks, placing them in hangars, warehouses and factory floors. Equipment in Western Ukraine is used for training and development. The analyst stressed that the Ukrainian armed forces are saving tanks for the counteroffensive, trying not to use them at the current stage.

Boris Dzherelievsky also noted that the supply of tanks is quite intensive, but is limited by the available stocks of Western countries. In addition, many of the tanks received from long-term storage facilities are in need of repair. It takes time to prepare the equipment for use on the battlefield. Often, tanks have to be repaired already on the spot, using tank-building plants in the Lvov and Zhytomyr regions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed plans for a counteroffensive, declaring his intention to return Crimea. In this regard, a military expert and combat veteran, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin, announced a possible intensification of attacks by Russian troops on the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the counteroffensive.
