Russian diesel-electric submarines armed with Caliber cruise missiles entered the Black Sea.

Against the backdrop of missile attacks expected by Kyiv on the territory of Ukraine in the period from January 12 to 15, it became known that half of the submarines of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy made an exit into the open waters of the Black Sea, heading south from Crimea. According to a number of data, submarines may head to the coast of Ukraine to strike at the objects of the military and energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

According to the information resource Covert Shores, at least three submarines of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy left Novorossiysk for the Black Sea. At the moment, it is known that three submarines of the Varshavyanka project and the landing ship Pyotr Morgunov left the base of the Russian Navy in Novorossiysk.

According to a number of assumptions, the submarines and the landing ship could move both in the direction of the Russian Navy base in Sevastopol and in the direction of the Ukrainian coast - it was not possible to track the movement of Russian diesel-electric submarines using open means of access. At the same time, there are no official statements in this regard.
