Submarine "Alrosa" worked out torpedo attacks in the Black Sea.

According to the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, the modernized diesel-electric submarine Alrosa has successfully completed torpedo firing in the Black Sea. The crew of the boat, which is part of the program for preparing the submarine to perform tasks for its intended purpose, is working out the elements of the course task L-3.

The exercises are taking place at one of the sea ranges in the Black Sea. The submariners have already completed a deep-sea dive and worked out the algorithms for operating the ship and using weapons at various depths, as well as various methods of surfacing. In the course of working out the elements of the course task, the crew performed torpedo firing at underwater and surface targets.

The next stage of crew training will be laying minefields, as well as practicing actions to evade the impact of anti-submarine aircraft. The repair and modernization of Alrosa was completed in May last year in Sevastopol, thanks to which the submarine received new combat and technical capabilities. Modern capabilities provided by modernization allow Alrosa to become one of the leaders of the Black Sea Fleet along with six submarines that have been accepted into the fleet in recent years.
