The Russian Aerospace Forces began to use the Jirah military airfield in the province of Aleppo.

According to Syrian sources, recently Russian military aviation began to be based at the Jirakh military airfield in the Syrian province of Aleppo. This is another military airfield, where helicopters and fighter jets of the Russian Aerospace Forces are now based, taking part in the cleansing of Syria from militants and terrorists.

At the moment, it is known that at the Jirakh military airfield, located about 70 kilometers from the city of Aleppo and 75 kilometers from the border with Turkey, there are not only military aviation assets of the Russian Aerospace Forces, but, judging by the video footage, assets are also deployed here air defense. It is not known for what purpose the Russian military aviation uses the Jirgah military airfield, however, thanks to such actions, the Russian military has significantly increased its presence in the region.

On the presented video frames, you can see the front part at the Jirah military airfield, where you can see the presence of combat helicopters, fighter and bomber aircraft. How many combat aircraft are deployed at the military airfield is unknown.
