As part of a special operation on the territory of Ukraine, the Russian army began operations in the urban areas of Chasov Yar, as reported by the authors of the Telegram channel “Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring.” The main forces involved in the offensive belong to the Ivanovo 98th Guards Airborne Division.

According to military officers, the operation is being conducted on the outskirts of the settlement and in its immediate vicinity. During aerial reconnaissance, reconnaissance units identified and destroyed a vehicle containing enemy personnel, which further strengthened the position of Russian troops in this region.

Previously, successful operations have already been carried out in Chasov Yar to destroy accumulations of military equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces. One of these strikes was carried out by Kostroma paratroopers using the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Russian military vehicle in urban combat.
