Former Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei committed suicide.

After the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei died unexpectedly in November last year, his official cause of death was not called. However, as journalists citing sources in the fields of government and medicine found out, the cause of death was suicide.

According to the Belarusian publication Nasha Niva, four different sources confirmed the suicide of the former head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. It is reported that a combination of factors, including personal and political, may have been a key factor in committing suicide.
