The last settlement north of Bakhmut came under the control of Russian forces.

A few hours ago, units of the PMC "Wagner" completely took control of the settlement. Paraskovievka, located north of Bakhmut. In fact, this is the last settlement on this outskirts of Bakhmut, providing an opportunity either for a direct assault on the city from the north, which is unlikely, or for bypassing Bakhmut in order to completely encircle the group of Ukrainian troops.

On the presented video frames, you can see how members of the Wagner PMC drop the Ukrainian flag from one of the buildings and demonstrate the current situation on the territory of this settlement. There are no gunshots on the video footage. This indicates that the Ukrainian troops do not even attempt to recapture Paraskoviivka.

For obvious reasons, Wagner PMC units do not disclose further plans in this area, however, current battles indicate that, along with the city's encirclement, it is also planned to encircle the settlements of Berkhovka, Yagodnoye and Artyomovskoye, located on the western outskirts of the city.
