In the Donetsk direction, Russian drone operators recorded another destruction of a Ukrainian Leopard tank. RIA Novosti reports this, citing a platoon commander with the call sign Bataysk. According to him, the equipment was identified during reconnaissance, as well as thanks to information from local residents. With the help of a drone, it was possible to accurately determine the location of the tank and strike it.

Bataysk noted that Western media exaggerate the characteristics of NATO equipment, including Leopard tanks. According to him, his platoon has already destroyed two such tanks, which turned out to be no more protected than other equipment. He emphasized that nothing complicated was discovered in the destruction of the Leopards - they have the same ammunition and design as other tanks. In addition, information received indicates that the Leopard tanks transferred from the West to Ukraine lack additional protection, which increases their vulnerability to attacks by the Russian military.
