The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the resumption of strikes on the Gaza Strip. It was previously reported that attacks on the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip on Friday night, when two tunnels and two weapons production facilities were destroyed. In the subsequent strike, several other targets of the terrorist organization were hit, including the mine of an underground weapons manufacturing facility, three additional weapons manufacturing facilities, and a terrorist tunnel.

In response to these strikes, the Hamas movement blamed Israel for the escalation and called on the Palestinian people to unite "in the fight against the occupiers." The Palestinian leadership accused the Israeli authorities of creating an atmosphere of escalation and instability in Jerusalem amid continued clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police on the Temple Mount.

It is reported that the Israeli military strikes also in the southern part of Lebanon. On Thursday, dozens of rockets were fired at Israeli border settlements and cities in the northern and western Galilee, aimed at them from Lebanese territory. At least three people were injured. The Israeli army said that the shelling of the country from the territory of Lebanon was carried out by groups of the Palestinian movement Hamas, which rules in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant ordered the country's military leadership to prepare for any possible response. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the enemies of the Jewish state will pay for every act of aggression against Israel and that internal debate and disagreement will not prevent the response to any provocations and attacks.
