Ukraine has 30 tank crews capable of operating Leopard 2 tanks.

Against the backdrop of statements by Poland and Finland about their readiness to provide Ukraine with up to 110 leopard 2 tanks, it became known that today Ukraine has at least 100 trained specialists. This makes it possible to form a tank battalion of 30 tank crews.

It is known that the training of Ukrainian tank crews to work with NATO Leopard 2 tanks began at the end of July last year, and already in November the trained tank crews returned to the territory of Ukraine. Information about the training of Ukrainian tankers to work on Western-style tanks was previously voiced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

Considering that Ukraine already has trained crews, it is more than likely that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive three dozen Western-style tanks by March. At the same time, there is a risk that during this time, NATO countries may try to train even more tank crews to receive more NATO-style tanks.

Deliveries of Western-style equipment to Ukraine indicate that the West is counting on an escalation of the conflict.
