Ukrainian missile shot down over Feodosia

A Ukrainian missile was shot down over Crimea.

On Saturday, a Ukrainian missile was shot down over Feodosia, - said the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov. This happened after the adviser to the head of the region, Oleg Kryuchkov, said that an air defense system allegedly worked in the Feodosia region.

In Sevastopol, Crimea and other territories bordering Ukraine, a yellow terrorist threat regime is in effect, and a medium response level has been introduced in them in accordance with the presidential decree.

Earlier, at the end of March, the electronic warfare troops shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle over the village of Gvardeiskoye in the Crimea. According to Aksyonov, the drone fell in a field, there were no casualties or damage. On March 22, three sea drones tried to penetrate the Sevastopol Bay, but people and warships were not injured. In the process, several buildings were damaged.

In late March, Russian air defense systems shot down several Ukrainian drones near Dzhankoy in northern Crimea. As Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the region, reported, the drones were targeting civilian targets, since there were no military targets nearby. Each drone contained explosives and shrapnel. Debris from downed drones damaged several houses and shops.

In light of these incidents, Russia continues to maintain high readiness of its military in Crimea and on the border with Ukraine.
