Lukashenko refused to support the Russian offensive from Belarus

Against the background of the expected new large-scale offensive in Ukraine, Lukashenko refused to support Moscow.

As part of a recent meeting between the presidents of Belarus and Russia, it became known that the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko refused to support the offensive of Russian forces from the territory of his country. This is evidenced by the information voiced by the Russian war correspondent Romanov.

Previously, it was assumed that large Russian forces deployed on the territory of Belarus could attempt to organize a new offensive from the territory of Belarus and thereby cut off part of Ukraine from the supply of Western weapons. This, at least in theory, would significantly speed up the process of conducting the NMD, however, according to Romanov, Lukashenko refused to support the Russian offensive from Belarus.

“Lukashenko refused to support the offensive from the Republic of Belarus. The rest of the directions are in force", Romanov said in his Telegram channel.

There are no official statements on this matter yet, however, earlier Lukashenka, speaking to reporters, said that Belarus does not plan to enter into an armed conflict with Ukraine.
