Kyiv plans to attack Crimea with MANTAS T-12 maritime drones

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to attack the Crimea with sea drones.

According to military expert Valentin Shestak, Kyiv can use its special units, the so-called "wolf packs", to attack the Crimea with the help of aircraft and marine unmanned vehicles. He spoke in detail about one of these drones - the MANTAS T-12 drone, which is allegedly used by Kiev.

According to him, Kyiv is creating copies of American MANTAS T-12 drones at its enterprises and plans to use them as kamikazes. This drone can reach speeds of 45 km/h and travel long distances. Its length is 5,5 meters, and weight - from 60 to 200 kilograms, depending on the type of combat equipment.

Shestak noted that these drones can be controlled remotely using satellite systems such as Starlink. He also added that autonomous intelligent systems could be installed on the outskirts of Sevastopol to detect such unmanned vehicles. This will make it possible to timely detect the attack and destroy the kamikaze drones, preventing them from approaching the Crimea.
