Kartapolov spoke about the likelihood of a new wave of partial mobilization

Kartapolov told whether to wait for mobilization.

On the air of the Soloviev.Live program, Andrey Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee, said that there are currently no plans for mobilization in Russia. The parliamentarian noted that the proposed changes in the military registration system, including the introduction of electronic summonses, are not related to mobilization and do not concern it. Kartapolov also stressed that everything related to mobilization is regulated by another law.

Today, the State Duma is to consider a bill that provides for the creation of a unified register of persons liable for military service and the introduction of electronic summonses. According to Kartapolov, traditional forms of subpoenas will be preserved, and electronic subpoenas will duplicate them. Persons liable for military service will be able to receive subpoenas in their personal account on the public services portal or in multifunctional centers.

However, on September 21, partial mobilization was announced in Russia. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that it is necessary to control the line of contact, a thousand kilometers long, and the liberated territories in Ukraine. 300 reservists were drafted into the army, mostly those who had already served, had experience and a military specialty.
