Israeli artillery attacked the territory of Syria.

The Israel Defense Forces, also known as the IDF, decided to fire artillery into Syria in response to rockets being fired at the Golan Heights. This was reported by the army press service. The report says that IDF artillery is currently shelling the territory in Syria, from where missiles were fired at Israel. At the same time, this strike is delivered in response to missile launches on Israeli territory.

Earlier, the Israeli army confirmed that three rockets were launched in the direction of the Golan Heights, two of which reached Israel. One of the missiles fell in open areas, and the second was shot down with the help of an anti-missile defense system (ABM).

It is equally important to note that this incident was the second rocket attack from Syria on Israeli territory in a few hours, and the last time it was recorded several years ago.

So far, there are no official comments from Damascus.
