Information about Israel's negotiations with the United States, during which the possibility of expanding military action against the Lebanese group is being discussed, has caused alarm. According to sources, France is trying to prevent such a turn of events.

The basis for the Israeli plan to expand military action is Israel's promises to the United States to refrain from escalation against Iran and the limited ability of Israeli citizens to return to the north of the country without military action. Israeli media have published information about the development of military plans against Hezbollah, which indicates the possibility of making decisions to expand the conflict.

Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon

According to the Lebanese website Al-Nashra, representatives of France and the United States are actively pursuing diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation. In particular, the visit of the French Foreign Minister to Lebanon, sent by President Macron, aims to divide tensions between various fronts, including Israel and Hezbollah.

It should be noted that Hezbollah’s capabilities are much wider than those of Hamas, while, the day before, Israel had already launched large-scale attacks on the southern part of Lebanon, as Avia.pro journalists previously reported, which is thus preparation for more serious actions.
