MiG-31K fighters left the territory of Belarus today

Three MiG-31K fighters left the territory of Belarus.

According to information received by the Belarusian Gayun monitoring group, three MiG-31K fighters, registered under the numbers RF-92215, RF-92445 and RF-95194, left the territory of Belarus and headed for Russia. These aircraft belong to the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation and were used to protect the borders of the Union State.

The planes have been on the territory of Belarus since December 13, 2022, but further circumstances of their movement are not reported. However, it is assumed that they could be sent back to their permanent bases.

The MiG-31K is a modern Russian two-seat fighter-interceptor capable of hitting targets at high altitudes and at long ranges. It is designed to perform air defense tasks, intercept and destroy air targets, including cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, at low and high altitudes in any weather conditions. Among other things, these fighters are carriers of the Kinzhal hypersonic cruise missiles.
