Iran tried to cover up the consequences of the Israeli attack on the Natanz nuclear facility

Satellite images released recently show the hidden consequences of an Israeli attack on an Iranian air base near the Natanz nuclear site. The images show Iran quickly replaced an air defense radar destroyed by Israeli missiles with a new one in an attempt to minimize external signs of damage, the Economist reported.

As the analyzes revealed, the Iranian side acted quickly, trying to maintain the appearance of full combat readiness and hide real losses from the international community. According to a publication in The New York Times, based on data from Israeli and Iranian sources, during the operation a radar complex of the Russian-made S-300 missile defense system was attacked. Analyst Chris Biggers, who previously worked with the US government, confirmed the accuracy of the Israeli missiles hitting the radar, after which the Iranians moved the remaining batteries and installed a new radar the next day.

It was previously reported that Israel had no intention of attacking the nuclear facility directly - only air defense systems were attacked as a warning measure.
