Iran wants to buy rocket fuel from Russia and China - Politico.

According to the newspaper, representatives of Tehran are negotiating with enterprises of the Russian Federation and China to purchase a large batch of ammonium perchlorate, the main ingredient for solid rocket fuel.
The Kremlin declined to comment - Peskov said he had not heard of such reports.
Iranian authorities have not yet commented on the publication's information, but such a move may be contrary to the terms of the deal that the country has concluded with the 5 + 1 group to limit its nuclear capabilities.
According to this agreement, Iran must reduce its stocks of nuclear fuel and limit their production within 15 years. At the same time, ammonium perchlorate is not included in the list of prohibited materials, however, it can be used for the production of solid rockets.
It should be noted that Iran's relations with the US and other Western countries remain tense and such a move could worsen them.
