Iraqi resistance says it will resume attacks on US bases

US military facilities in Syria were subjected to missile attacks coming from Iraq, Al-Mayadeen TV channel reports. The latest attacks came nearly two months after the previous incidents. According to the source, the Al-Omar base was attacked by four missiles, while the Kharab Al-Jir base was attacked by three missiles and one drone. At this time there is no information about casualties or damage caused.

These attacks come against the backdrop of statements by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq about renewed attacks on US positions in the region. The reason for the intensification of aggressive actions was the “lack of progress” in negotiations on the withdrawal of American armed forces. Resistance members say the United States is not living up to its commitment to demilitarize the region, prompting strong reactions from local armed groups.

However, Avia.pro has information that the strikes on the US base were in response to the recent attack on pro-Iranian forces.
