Estonia has decided to transfer two patrol boats from its fleet to Ukraine, which is a third of its number. As noted in the West, this decision emphasizes the support that Tallinn provides to Kyiv in the current conflict.

Patrol boats belonging to the coast guard will be sent to Ukraine in the near future.

“We helped as much as we could”, said the Estonian Ministry of Defense.

Despite the delivery of two patrol boats, experts believe that they will not have a real impact on the situation, especially since the patrol boats are not equipped with any weapons, but can probably be used to attempt to land sabotage groups.
