In the surrounded Soledar, the battles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Wagner PMC are still ongoing.

Despite the fact that today at midnight the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced that the units of the Wagner PMC completely surrounded Soledar, it is reported that the fighting in the city continues to this day. Due to the encirclement of the city, it was not possible to obtain reliable information by this time, however, intense shooting and explosions are reported.

At the moment, it is known that intense shooting and battles are taking place mainly in the central part of Soledar. As a result of the encirclement of the city, a cauldron was formed here, however, apparently, the Ukrainian military refused to voluntarily surrender and continue to fight. Information about the complete control of PMC "Wagner" Soledar has not yet received any official confirmation from the press service of PMC "Wagner".

By the time Soledar was surrounded, up to 500 Ukrainian military personnel could be in the city and, for obvious reasons, it may take some time to gain full control over the city. This, by the way, does not exclude the possibility that during this time the Ukrainian army may try to launch an attack.
