The Ukrainian military has completed training to work on the American Patriot air defense systems.

At the moment, it is known that Ukrainian military personnel have completed a full course of training to work on these air defense systems and in the near future they will be sent to Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the deployment of American air defense systems in Ukraine should be expected within the next three weeks.

In January, 65 Ukrainian servicemen arrived at the Fort Sill military base in Oklahoma for training on the Patriot air defense system, the transfer of which the United States had previously announced. According to the US media, the Ukrainian military deploys a battery of Patriot air defense systems within 25 minutes, while deployment within 45 minutes is considered the standard. Nevertheless, experts believe that these air defense systems will not give Ukraine any real advantage, since according to various calculations, in order to effectively close the airspace, which provides for the defeat of 85% of targets, Ukraine will need at least 9 batteries of the Patriot air defense system, while how Ukraine will be able to receive only three batteries - in addition to the United States, deliveries will also be organized by a number of European countries.
