Despite the fact that previous employees of the Italian airline «Alitalia» reported their intention to strike only at the beginning of April, the ground services company decided to go on strike today. As a result of protests by representatives of the Italian airline «Alitalia» announced the cancellation of flights 40%, while in the beginning of April and the strike again, but on a larger scale, in particular, is expected to 60% cancellation of flights.

It should be noted that the main reason for the protests was the intention of the management of airline companies to reduce staff in order to minimize their losses.
