Training aircraft
Training aircraft - aircraft, the purpose of which is to carry out training and training of flight personnel. Basic requirements are set for training aircraft in the form of ease of control and reliability. They are usually equipped with dual controls. That is, both the trainee and the instructor have access to the aircraft control stations (rudder pedals, rudder or control stick) and the engine (propulsion stick / stepping stick on the helicopter).
Often educational model of lethal devices, converted by the above-mentioned requirements, launched in serial production.
History
Airmen studying the art of piloting the aircraft on their own up to 1910 years. Then 2 training systems have been developed.
On one of them, the system of Blériot:
- trained independently pursued taxiing aircraft-simulator without the ability to fly in the air;
- podlety perform yourself on a plane with a reduced lifting force;
- carried out flights on the full plane.
However, more widespread received alternative training system whereby on the aircraft was given a separate place for flight training instructor. For example, it was used as a training aircraft "Farman-4", which was equipped with two seats, arranged in a pattern "tandem".
The front seat was reserved for the pilot, where there were all controls. But the control stick of the aircraft in this model was shifted to the right so that the person sitting behind could freely reach it. Nevertheless, only the member of the crew sitting in front had access to the rudder pedals. On the first training departures, the instructor took the front seat, and the trainee was seated on the back seat. At the same time, the student was holding onto the control stick that his teacher was wielding. Then they swapped places, the trainee performed several rulezek to master the skills of steering a rudder, and then in the next training departures he independently controlled the aircraft. The instructor could help his ward with the control knob (but not the pedals).
