TAB
COMBINATION Small, hinged, the movable part on the trailing edge control surfaces (ailerons, elevator, rudder).
Balance or control tab
BALANCING CONTROL PANEL or: moves in the opposite direction to the control surfaces to assist in moving the control surfaces.
Trim tab
PANEL trim: provides a controlled deflection of the ailerons and rudder to compensate rasbalans thrust or fuel. TRIMMER stabilizer: a controlled deviation of the horizontal stabilizer to reduce the burden on management.
TACHOMETER GENERATOR
GENERATOR tachometer, small electric generator to supply current with a frequency proportional to the rotational speed.
SYMBOL GENERATOR
Character generator generates video signals are displayed on the EADI and EHSI.
SYNCHRONIZER
Character generator generates video signals are displayed on the EADI and EHSI.
SYNCHRONOUS
SYNCHRONOUS, refers to two or more events that have occurred in the system at the same time.
TAIL WIND
The wind direction of flight, wind component relative to the direction of flight of the aircraft, coming from the rear of the aircraft.
TAKEOFF ANALYSIS
Analysis on takeoff, the analysis, which assesses letnotehnicheskie capabilities of the aircraft for a variety of external factors at a given runway and this airport.
TARGET PARAMETER
Target parameters specific task, such as airspeed, thrust, engine speed, altitude, temperature, or rate of climb, which should be achieved.
TASK TICKET
Tickets for the stint, the computer coding used to carry to completion stint.
TAXI
Taxiing, the aircraft movement on the ground, using the power of the engine of the aircraft.
TAXI FUEL
Taxi fuel is burned for fuel after the start of the engine before takeoff maneuver.
TAT sm.-TOTAL AIR TEMPERATURE.
TCAS, sm.-TRAFFIC ALERT AND COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM.
TCC, sm.-TURBINE CASE COOLING.
TAIL PIPE
Exhaust pipe outlet at the rear of the engine exhaust.
TEFLON
TEFLON (PTFE), a synthetic material for hydraulic and pneumatic seals.
TEMPERATURE INDICATION STRIP
Temperature-sensitive films, heat-sensitive tape which changes color when the temperature rises to indicate the components subject to high temperatures.
TEMPERATURE INVERSION
Temperature inversion conditions in the atmosphere, which is caused by the outside temperature, which increases with the height of the aircraft.
TENSIOMETER
Strain gauges, the instrument used to measure the voltage of the aircraft control cables that are installed.
THERMAL ANTI-ICING
Deicing heater, a method for preventing the formation of ice on the front hood and on the front edge of the wing, which uses hot air.
TEE
Tees, pipe or fitting, made in the form of the letter T.
THERMAL COMPENSATOR
THERMO-compensator element like a wire brush in the pipe to prevent an increase in temperature when the tube is inflated with oxygen.
THERMAL RELIEF VALVE
THERMO-relief valves, a valve which opens to lower the pressure of the fluid due to the temperature rise.
THERMOCOUPLE
Thermocouples two dissimilar metals, joined in pairs at their ends at the same point for measuring the temperature. When the point of the compound are at different temperatures, in the circuit flows a current proportional to the temperature difference.
THERMOSTAT
Thermostat component designed to work with the set temperature for controlling the electric circuit and the valves.
THERMOSTATIC SWITCH
ALARM thermostatic controlled by thermal energy, temperature-sensitive element, which opens at a predetermined temperature in it.
THRESHOLD (N0.1)
THRESHOLD (No.1), the lower part of the doorway into the fuselage
THROTTLE SPLIT
DIVISION traction engine control condition in which there is a difference in the angle between the provisions of arms rods, but the thrust of the engines are the same.
THRESHOLD (N0. 2)
Butt end of the approach area of the runway.
THROTTLE HOLD
HOLD traction mode the autothrottle, which handles traction control remain in the position where they were placed.
THROTTLE LEVER ANGLE
ANGLE OF ARM ROD (ENGINE), the angle through which the handle rod set.
THROTTLE VALVE
Throttle valve, the valve control unit programmed fuel for the fuel supply to the engine.
THRUST
ROD, the repulsive force of a jet engine.
THRUST LIMIT
THRUST LIMIT, the maximum permissible thrust for a specific set of conditions.
THRUST MODE ANNUNCIATOR
INDICATOR traction mode, the display unit or part of a display that shows the operating mode of the engine.
THRUST REVERSER
Mechanism of reverse thrust, the mechanical components in the fan section or the exhaust section of the engine to extinguish the front traction and reduce the distance run by a deviation of the air or the exhaust fan in the forward direction.
THRUST REVERSER COWL
HOOD MECHANISM reverse thrust, the casing around the engine reverse thrust mechanism, which can be opened for access to tons of components for maintenance.
TIME DELAY
Delay time circuit for supplying / stopping electrical current to an active component for a period of time / period of time after.
TIRE SPEED LIMIT WEIGHT
WEIGHT LIMIT SPEED PNEUMATIC, the maximum weight allowed by the take-off, which is based on the equality of the speed in the separation to the permissible speed of pneumatics.
TOLERANCE
GAP, assuming part in a certain dimension, which allows for the difference in size. Usually referred to as (+) or (-)
TOP OF DESCENT
HEIGHT began to decline, the point at which the aircraft leaves the cruising altitude and begins to decline.
TORQUE TUBE
TUBE torque transmitting tubular member to transmit rotary motion to the control surfaces.
TORSION
Torsion or twisting of the material portion by an external force.
TORSION LINK
DVUHZVENNIK hinged connection element for connecting the inner and outer cylinders strut.
TOTAL AIR TEMPERATURE
COMPLETE flow temperature, outside temperature and static temperature plus the temperature rise due to the effect of air flow at high flight speeds.
TOTAL PRESSURE
Total pressure, pressures higher than ambient pressure, due to airflow, as measured in pounds per square inch (psi).
TOTAL TEMPERATURE
Total temperature, the temperature is higher than the outside temperature due to compression of the air flow, measured in degrees Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F).
TOUCHDOWN
TAP, the point at which the aircraft is the first contact with the runway.
TOWING LUG
CLAMP for towing of the front or main landing gear for the connection of the carrier to tow the aircraft on the ground.
TRACK (NO. 1)
Guiding means structural element for connection to the fixed component or components to move along it.
TRAFFIC ALERT AND COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM
SYSTEM collision avoidance and warning TRAFFIC (aircraft) system set up to warn the crew of a potential collision with another aircraft, equipped with the defendant, flying in the same area.
TRAILING EDGE
Trailing edge, the trailing edge of the wing, control surface or stabilizer.
TRANSDUCER
TRANSMITTER, sensors, electric device which receives either electrical energy and transforms it into mechanical motion, or mechanical motion into electrical energy transforms.
TRANSFER MECHANISM
The transmission mechanism, a component for transmitting motion from one place to another.
TRANSFORMER
Transformers, an electrical device that uses electromagnetic induction to transfer electrical energy from an electrical winding to another.
TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER UNIT
BLOCK transformer-rectifier, an electronic device to change from AC to DC to supply the electrical systems of the aircraft.
TRANSIENT
INCIDENTAL, temporary, momentary spike in the signal or power line. It can produce false alarms or initiate ripple component and cause damage or failure.
TRANSFER GEARBOX, sm.-ANGLE GEARBOX.
TRANSISTOR
Transistors, a semiconductor element for use in electrical circuits. It consists of a base, collector and emitter. There are two types of transistors with RPR and St. transitions.
TRANSITION
Transitions, the change from one phase to another flight.
TRANSLATING COWL
Transferable hood, the outer part of the movable thrust reverser cowl mechanism, which is controlled during reverse thrust.
TRANSMITTER
A transmitter for sending an electrical signal information
from one location to another.
TRANSPONDER
The defendant, the radio transmitter-receiver that transmits identification signals automatically when it receives a proper request.
TRIM
TRIM adjustment of the engine and controls of the aircraft for the purpose of balancing the control conditions.
TRIM TAB
BALANCING COMBINATION, small joint-movable part on the trailing edge control surfaces (ailerons, rudder). (See. TAB).
TRIP FUEL
Flight FUEL, the total amount of fuel consumed from brake release phase through the climb, cruise and descent before landing at the airport of arrival.
TRUE AIRSPEED
True airspeed, the actual speed of the aircraft relative to the moving air. True airspeed equal indicated airspeed corrected for positional errors of pressure and temperature effects.
TRU, sm.-TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER UNIT.
TRUTH TABLE
TRUE tables in digital logic, a table that describes the logic function, listing all possible combinations of input values and displays the output values for each member of the combination.
TURBINE
Turbines, the rotating part of the engine which receives kinetic energy from the gas combustion chamber. This energy is converted into movement of the turbine, which drives the compressor and the fan on the coaxial shaft.
TURBINE CASE COOLING
COOLING HOUSING turbine engine cooling method using air blower. This cooling process is used to increase the efficiency of the motor.
TURBOFAN
Turbofan jet engine, in which the first stage with a large fan blades is. Air driven fan / compressor used in the air conditioning system.
TURNBUCKLE
SCREW turnbuckles, mechanical device left and right to adjust the thread tension in the control cable.
TURBULENCE
TURBULENCE, movement or shaking of the aircraft due to the instability of the air mass.
