Establishment of communication between the Air Force and Ground Forces

 

Air Force Success of interaction with ground troops in combat and operations depends on the established connections.

Army Headquarters is responsible for:

  • a) the establishment and preservation of terrestrial telephone and telegraph communication between the units and headquarters of the Army and Air Force and for sending delegates;

  • b) the establishment and preservation of land lines between headquarters and individual air units;

  • c) the work of the final points of contact between the staffs of large air and air units; for this purpose are given to large air of the communication;

  • g) the distribution of the waves necessary for aviation;

  • d) the establishment of call signs and codes;

  • e) the establishment of the necessary orders and return personnel radio telegraph and telephone stations and parts of the army air forces assigned to them for establishing communication with the aircraft;

  • g) organization of work stations and air communications and surveillance.

 

The Air Force is responsible for:

  • a) internal communication between the parts and the air force, with the exception of the above in Nos. "B" and "c"; all air units and large air supplied radiotelegraph installations to communicate with each other;

  • b) the device, saving and plant operation for communication between the aircraft and the ground, including the installation, existing organizations and parts of the army, referred to in para. "e".
