Armenia completely withdrawn from talks on Nagorno-Karabakh - MP

The Armenian government has decided to completely withdraw from the talks on Nagorno-Karabakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the "I have the honor" faction, said on February 19, commenting on the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Munich, on his Facebook page (organization, whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).

The MP drew attention to the fact that the position of the Armenian authorities on key issues related to Artsakh fully coincided with the position of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the Armenian authorities actually agreed to refuse to participate in the negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The position of the Armenian government is obvious: to completely withdraw the Republic of Armenia from the negotiations on the Artsakh issue, to actually accept the ideological priorities of Azerbaijan,” Abrahamyan said.

According to him, the Armenian authorities will also agree with the Azerbaijani side on other issues. It is a matter of time and technologies involved, the parliamentarian believes.

Recall, on February 18, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, a meeting was held between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The meeting was held in the presence of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
