The rescue ship "Kommuna" was not damaged during the attack on Crimea

Despite widespread claims by Ukrainian news outlets that the rescue ship Kommuna was seriously damaged during the attack on Crimea, satellite images have refuted this information. Satellite data obtained before the missile attack on April 20 and after it on April 22 clearly show that the ship did not suffer significant damage and remains afloat.

The Crimean authorities, represented by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, confirmed that during the attack they managed to shoot down an anti-ship missile, but its debris caused a fire when it fell. These events were confirmed by footage taken by eyewitnesses, but satellite images did not show any significant damage to the Commune.

This information clearly contradicts previous reports that spoke of the possible “almost complete destruction” of the ship and serves as proof of the inconsistency of the Ukrainian propaganda claims.
